Each bottle of our organic tincture contains 128g of fresh fruiting body*. Once harvested and dehydrated, the mushrooms are extracted with both alcohol and hot water to extract a full spectrum of bioactive compounds. We carry out three extraction processes. Our tinctures are then prepared on-site at a 1:4 ratio (1g of mushrooms to every 4ml of water).

Once cloned in our lab and successfully inoculated, the substrate transforms into healthy myceliated blocks when they are moved from incubation to the fruiting chamber. Then we harvest, dehydrate, grind, and then extract using plant-derived alcohol. Once ready, the carefully crafted tinctures are packed and posted. All mushrooms in our Farmed by Us range - including Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Shiitake, Oyster and Maitake - are lovingly farmed and formulated right here on our organic mushroom farm in the green county of Somerset.

Our Cordyceps sinensis is blended with naturally sourced Vitamins D3 & C. Our Vitamin D3 comes from organic lichen extract - a composite organism formed from a symbiotic partnership between a fungus and algae - which helps to support muscle health. Vitamin C comes from organic amla (Gooseberry) extract which helps your body to better absorb the bioactive compounds in the tincture as well as supporting energy elevation.

Under current UK Novel Food Regulations, we are only permitted to sell Cordyceps sinensis - a species that cannot be cultivated in the UK climate. Therefore, we’ve partnered with a specialist producer in China where the fungus naturally originates and has been traditionally grown. We’ve carried out extensive due diligence on our supplier, including independent testing and verification. We partner only with producers who share our values of organic cultivation, high-strength extracts and transparent, responsible practices.

We don’t rely solely on our own internal checks. Every batch is sent to an independent laboratory where qualified analytical chemists run a full panel of tests. They confirm the exact active compounds, assess the potency and check for consistency from batch to batch.
