Reishi is quite probably the most revered functional mushroom of them all, used for centuries for its wide range of benefits. The Reishi mushroom is a bio-active powerhouse packed with compounds and nutrients that have been researched clinically for decades. UK-Native Strain 

As much as possible we utilise native strains, not only to help us get closer once again to the land - where so much of the knowledge has been lost - but most importantly to have as little effect as possible on local biodiversity and tread as lightly as possible on the earth. 

 

Triple Extracted, 1: 4 Ratio (Super Strength)

Each bottle of our organic Reishi tincture contains 128g of Reishi fresh fruiting body*. Once harvested and dehydrated, the mushrooms are extracted with both alcohol and hot water to extract a full spectrum of bioactive compounds. We carry out three extraction processes. Our tinctures are then prepared on-site at a 1:4 ratio (1g of mushrooms to every 4ml of water).

Farmed & Formulated in Somerset, UK

Once cloned in our lab and successfully inoculated, the substrate transforms into healthy myceliated blocks when they are moved from incubation to the fruiting chamber. Then we harvest, dehydrate, grind, and then extract using plant-derived alcohol. Once ready, the carefully crafted tinctures are packed and posted. All mushrooms in our Farmed by Us range - including Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Shiitake, Oyster and Maitake - are lovingly farmed and formulated right here on our organic mushroom farm in the green county of Somerset.

Ingredients

This Reishi tincture is made simple and strong, with just three ingredients: our organic mushrooms, purified water and plant-derived alcohol.

Etymology

Etymology Ganoderma (Greek words "Ganos" + "derma") translates to 'shining skin'. The specific epithet lucidum also means 'shining'. Lingzhi, it's Chinese name, (líng + zhī) means "divine fungus".

Folklore

New evidence suggests use in Neolithic China 6,800 years ago and there was a time when Reishi was said to be reserved for the use of emperors alone.

Origin Native to Europe, Asia and North America. Our Reishi is indigenous to Somerset, originally found in the wild in Wells and then cloned by us in our lab in Bristol, making our Reishi extract the first commercially available native Ganoderma lucidum tincture in the UK.

FAQS

How much tincture should I take?

We suggest a daily dosage of 1-2ml. This can be either taken all at once (suggested in the
morning around 15 mins before food) or distributed throughout the morning and afternoon as preferred.

How should I consume it?

You can consume your tincture in many ways - be it undiluted or in a drink or food. We
recommend taking your tincture in water or fruit juice, ideally alongside a meal. This method is thought to be the best for absorption. Whatever fits your lifestyle and makes it easy to enjoy, some may even wish to add them into soups, salad dressings or smoothies at mealtime.

How many doses are in each bottle?

There are 50x 1ml servings per 50ml bottle. Taking the recommended dose of 1-2ml daily means a bottle will last between 25-50 days.
